Hair analysis for alcohol
HAIR ANALYSIS FOR ALCOHOL (ETG)
Our partner laboratory needs one for thisHair strand of max. 3cm length. If the hair is shorter, then only a period of 1 month can be assessed retrospectively per centimeter of hair.
The hair is tested for the following substances:
Ethyl glucuronide (EtG)Your hair is allowed from the scheduled examinationon ETG NOTbleached,colored or dyedbe. This means that with a three-month proof of abstinence from alcohol, your hair may not have been tinted, dyed or bleached for 3 months.
Hair is not substance-free immediately after the start of abstinence. In the growth phase (anagen phase), newly formed scalp hair reaches the surface of the scalp after about 9 - 14 days. For a proof of abstinence, this means that in the first month after the start of abstinence, aWaiting time of about 2 weeksmust be taken into accountuntil "substance-free" hair has grown back.
